RAT TAILS VOL. 2
Rat Tails is a multimedia publication that debuted at Rat****** 2.
We invite everyone to contribute, Somerville neighbors and rat lovers everywhere. We are accepting a wide range of art; send us photos you’ve taken, doodles you’ve drawn, lyrics or chords you’ve written, ANYTHING! Art doesn’t need to be, and often isn’t, perfect. Don’t let perfection hold you back from submitting! We’d love to see your authentic creations.
sound workshops
Sign up for one of our trainings offered to womxn+ and non-binary individuals on how to run live sound. Rat***** Music Fest will take place on Aug 22 & 23. People who complete this training (either level) will be eligible to volunteer on the sound crew at the event. If you participated in the training last year, you are eligible to take the 201 level this year.
Each workshop is 1 session and lasts ~3.5 hours (snacks provided).
Training takes place at Warehouse XI in Somerville and is free of charge.

Do you like to scurry around!?!! We need you!!! Here’s what we think we’ll need help with:
• Flyering
• Help us set up the fest!
• Hanging signs and art from art builds
• Work the door
• Sell Rat****** 3 Fest merch and snacks
• Work as a TIPS certified bartender
Volunteers will work for a shift (or more if you are feeling sporty) & receive a T-shirt and free entry.

Would you like to sell your creations on-site at Rat******? Fill out the application below to be considered!
Fee details: To vend at Rat****** 3 music fest, all members of your party must purchase a ticket ($35/day or $60 for both) (feel free to look into our reduced R.A.T.S. ticket option if you are eligible). There is no additional vendor fee.
art builds
Are you an upcycling fiend? Do you want to make wonderful freaky fest art? Come meet your community and contribute to the visuals for Rat****** 3.
This year, we are hosting four art build workshops in collaboration with @loov_the and Life Drawing Boston! bring your crew! all are welcome! zero experience required! dates & times below!

Old clothes, sheets/tablecloths, fabric scraps, paints, misc art supplies that have been gathering dust – bring them allllll
